TRACY WESTPHAL Landscape Architect | Bay Area CA

Tracy Westphal has been designing gardens and outdoor spaces in California for over twenty seven years.

She worked for twelve years with a large firm in San Francisco. During this period she managed several large scale residential projects in Woodside, Atherton, Hillsborough, Pebble Beach and Marin County. For the past 15 years she has been working from a home office on a range of projects from small Kensington and Berkeley gardens to large sloping hillsides in Atherton, Belvedere Island and Danville.

" Residential design is a very specialized and personal process. I enjoy getting to know my clients and assisting them with realizing a vision for their property. "  With each project comes a new set of challenges and opportunities.  Tracy will work with you from beginning to end assisting in everything from conceptual planning, construction plans, to finding just the right contractor, builder or gardener.

Tracy has an eye for design and is skilled at the craft of composing both hardscape (paving, decking, pools, patios) and softscape (plants) elements. Tracy has an extensive knowledge of Mediterranean plants and California native plants specifically.  Each design is unique,  responsive to the elements inherent on the site and of course the clients wishes.

Tracy has been a licensed Landscape Architect in California since 1994.
